Anna-Mair was wonderful. What a lovely person and knowledgeable photographer who could explain at our level. She gave us very useful information to get off our Auto setting which immediately gave us much better results in our photos. It wasn't overwhelmingly technical, which would have been confusing, but effective and easy to implement information, with good explanation, which gave us fabulous improvements. We had plenty of opportunity to play with the settings to help reinforce the lesson as well as discussion and opportunities to improve our photo compositions. I wish we had done this lesson before we went to Europe; our photos would have been far superior. Thank you Anna-Mair. We hope to do a further lesson with you in the future.

Anna, being a highly experienced professional photographer, we learnt tons of techniques during the session. She particularly emphasized seldom-discussed metering modes. Over the three hours, I managed to captured some interesting photos of sunset and light trails. I highly recommend her classes and look forward to participating in more. Thank you.

I had planned to out for sunrise in the morning but forgot to set the alarm. I was going to meet my mate at Beachmere which was about an hours drive from my place and I always arrive at the place where I am shooting sunrise an hour before actual sunrise. Luckily for me, my mate rang me in the morning and asked me if I could pick him up for the shoot. I shot out of bed, got ready, picked my mate and got to Beachmere about 10 mins before Sunrise!!! So glad we got there just in time.!!!!

I always have my camera gear with me, so i set up with my macro lens and a small light on a magic arm and waited patiently for the bees to become accustomed to my presence. I did receive some very strange looks from people, wondering what this strange man was doing standing so close to a tree taking photos of seemingly nothing ?. I got a handful of

This little wildflower is a species that I rediscovered in 2020 after no recorded sightings since the 1850s, which now over two years later, due to social media, it has been researched, classified and given its own scientific name Drosera rubricalyx and maybe one day it will be commonly known as Anderson's Ruby Sundew.
